I have been a painter for many years and after several years focusing mostly on work in clay, I have returned to painting. I have lived in several countries and have recently returned to Canada after several years living in Switzerland and traveling extensively.
My art is, thus, permeated with the traditional buildings and shapes to be found in Europe. I am inspired by the people and the street life to be found there. As an avid gardener, natural forms also shape my art. Trees, leaves, flowers and other natural forms are always ever-new and endlessly fascinating to me and are often incorporated in my art both in clay designs and in paintings.
I am a painter, potter, ceramic sculptor and mosaic artist and have taught art and exhibited in both Canada and Europe.
